Dr. Asok K. Ray
Dr. Asok K. Ray, earned his medical degree from India, England and USA. He also obtained board certifications in surgery from England. He completed his orthopedic residency at Northwestern University at Chicago and completed one year of fellowship in orthopedic surgery at Weiss Hospital (University of Chicago Affiliated Hospital). He was chief resident at Cook County Hospital and later served as attending orthopedic surgeon at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Ray has been serving as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Illinois, Chicago. Associate Attending Professor at Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
Dr. Ray has been practicing as an orthopedic surgeon for over 25 years at McNeal Hospital, Berwyn and Oak Park Hospital, Oak Park. He served as Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery for many years at McNeal Hospital. At that time, the orthopedic department was ranked as one of the 20 best orthopedic departments in America, by U.S. World News.
Presently with more than 25 years of teaching and private practice experience, he is actively serving the McNeal community. Dr. Ray is easily available for an appointment at his office within 48 hour. Dr. Ray is licensed to practice in Illinois and California.
